LA Chic

I have really been neglecting this blog and I've decided to be a far better blogger and post atleaste once a week.

I'm a real fan of LA chic now to me boho and LA chic are two different looks although elements between  the two styles definitly overlap. I've been deliberating (in my mind) about who best sums up the style as so many people do it OH so very well Nicole Richie, Lindsay Lohan, Mary Kate Olsen, Vanessa Hudgens, Rachel Zoe. Any female celebrity based in LA really. I really could not pick just one and it was a toss up between Lindsay and Mary Kate. They both embody the look, feel, way of everything that is LA and of course chic. They don't get it right all the time (who does) they have their fashion faux pas just like us regular beings of the world. My Favourite Mario Testino Pictures

I know guys I already did a post on Mario Testino, but they were all Kate Moss shots. So I have a fresh bundle here of my favourite Mario Testino shots in general. He is one of my favourite photograhers, it's definitly a toss up between him, and David Bailey. I really find it hard to choose Testino is alot more modern, yet Bailey captured the 60s one of my favourite decades. Marilyn Monroe

What to say about Marilyn, how does one sum up this creature in words. I don't think it's possible. Marilyn wasn't the prettiest of the golden era of Hollywood starlets, but she bore this enigmatic quality that even 50 years after her death still holds many captivated. Maybe it was her vulnerability, or her soft spoken voice. Whatever it was there will, and always will be only one Marilyn.
